Meet ChristinePrior to starting my consulting business, I spent 15 years as Human Resources (HR) manager in several Fortune 500 organizations in Houston. I specialized in recruiting and employee relations, supporting managers and employees through challenging times which included: major growth cycles, layoffs, reorganizations, mergers, and the usual day-to-day changes, challenges and conflict. While continuing my corporate career, I studied naturopathy—the philosophy that if we give the body what it truly needs, health occurs naturally and we perform our best. Although that sounded great, based on my experience of working in high-stress, demanding corporate environments, I understood the challenge of integrating healthy lifestyle practices at work. In 2003, I left my corporate job to fulfill my dream of teaching others how to create work that is soul-satisfying, healthy, and productive. I inspire and teach employees effective ways to be healthy, engaged, and successful, ensuring their optimum contribution to the organization while feeling personally fulfilled. Whether working one-on-one or with groups, I combine my special blend of expertise to help professionals identify and resolve underlying causes and strengthen good habits. I also work directly with operations and HR managers to identify and implement simple, practical, cost-effective ways to create an environment where employees thrive and look forward to coming to work. Optimizing for successI call myself a Workforce Naturopath because I combine my expertise in HR and natural health to contribute to the success of individuals, businesses, and other organizations. Using a wholistic approach, I teach professionals to identify and then transform counterproductive behaviors and unsustainable practices that negatively impact their performance, health, and well-being. Where to Find MeI graduated from the University of Louisiana with a BBA in Management then earned an MBA from University of Houston while working full-time. I later received my Doctor of Naturopathy degree from Clayton College of Natural Health. I am an ambassador for the Boulder Area Human Resources Association and have served on the Board of Directors for CORE, an organization that supports businesses in being sustainable. My articles have been published in the online magazine Authentic Living and The Denver Business Journal. I've also been interviewed for articles in The Washington Post, Body & Soul, and other publications. Click here to read some of these articles.

"Don't settle forever, or for too long, for work you don't love. You need to aspire to work that makes you thrive, that you're proud of, that is a perfect fit to your talents, gifts, and passionate interests. When we love our work, we will sustain true, inner happiness." — Alexandra Stoddard (from Things I Want My Daughters to Know)
